Flüg
A quintessential New York City loft in the heart of Manhattan, Flug is a welcoming environment with tinsel ceiling tiles, a century-old floor, large windows overlooking Chelsea’s rooftop while also staring at the Empire State Building. It is a very cozy environment for the creative filmmaker looking for unusual gear and lenses.
The four Opti-Glide camera check out bays are spaciously spaced to accommodate unrushed camera checkouts that also double as a testing ground for a variety of specific lenses, cameras and accessories.
This boutique rental house wanted to have the bays situated right across the in-house personnel behind a judiciously placed long bar like set up. Getting equipment is done in a snap, right there, next to the bays.
Each Opti-Glide is fitted with a Calibration-free real-time distance digital read-out and hand cranks for intuitive use of the chart movement to and from the operator. One lane is fitted for our Film plane encoder for an even faster camera checkout.
Each Pedestal is equipped with our hand-made walnut trays to bring additional equipment and place it directly on each Pedestal middle plate. They are designed to snap into place, avoiding any unwarranted sliding.
