The Dais

The Dais Platform is a multi-purpose heavy-duty supporting plate designed to handle both professional cameras and Projectors. The elongated design platform offers an unparalleled combination of features for a variety of purposes.

The Dais Platform was initially designed to support heavy zoom lenses with the Chrosziel P-TP7 Projector. While the projector can be fitted with 19 mm rods to support large-size lenses, the face plate support makes it difficult to handle large zoom lenses. The Dais platform takes the lens weight off the projector’s front element with supporting brackets that can be mounted in 3 different locations. This configuration makes it easier to mount lenses on the projector, eliminating the need to remedy front weight issues with the Projector and concerns about balancing the combined load. Its extreme rigidity makes it a far more stable supporting plate for the projector itself while spreading the combined load for a far more user-friendly set-up.
