The installation of two MYT Works Opti-Glides at Camera Ambassador in Chicago has begun!
Brandon Werlin, the owner of Camera Ambassador, first saw the Opti-Glide at Cinegear 2019. It was important that he and his team, not only install a Camera Checkout Bay that would provide him with an unparalleled level of accuracy but also a platform that would allow him to check out his lenses with cameras and projectors. This is one of the many features of the Opti-Glide that appealed to Brandon.
Camera Ambassador has a wonderful space literally around the corner from Cinespace Film Studios. It is located in an old brick building with massive wood beams and brick walls and high ceilings. This makes for a more challenging installation but one that will certainly stand out.
Both Opti-Glide Camera Checkout Bays will be fitted with instant distance digital readouts displays, calibration-free film plane encoders, and motor systems. We’ll be posting some more stills and videos in the next few weeks.
