MYT OPERATION
MYT GLIDE 
The MYT Glide was built with simplicity and ease of use in mind, numerous options and straight-forward , common sense functionality. A few steps will get you setup, ready to work with MYT Glide very quickly.
- Make sure The MYT Glide is leveled. This will optimize the smoothness of your moves. To that effect, The MYT Glide has two level vials for both X and Y leveling.
- If you use a half ball on your tripod, mount it first on one of the three MYT support plates. Make sure it is secured tightly then proceed with leveling the MYT Glide if you only use a tripod.
- If you use a tripod and any other mounting combination, we recommend you level the MYT Glide with the half ball head last. You can mount the half ball by either screwing it in or tightening it with 3 allen screws for more secure mounting.
- Although the MYT Glide functions while not leveled parallel to the ground surface please take precaution by holding or locking the carriage to avoid the it from sliding to the other end of the glider. This could damage the MYT Glide and/or your camera
- Occasionally, dirt can accumulate on the glide tracks thereby creating riding bumps when you slide the carriage. Any regular cloth will take care of the problem. You don't need any chemical product to remove spots. Avoid abrasive material as it could damage the surface of the track.
- Once leveled and positioned, don't forget to level your tripod head on the MYT Hi-Hat.
- We recommend sand bags when using stands to support the MYT Glide. It will make the setup more stable and safer for both the equipment and its operators.
- Make sure to tighten the nuts on the carriage before you mount the tripod head and camera
MYT SKATE
- Rods should be locked into carriage above ground level as to prevent dragging or grinding against skating surface.
- Even though the MYT Skate is uni-directional, you can hold the camera, push it and guide it in different directions.
- Make sure you level the tripod head before beginning operation.
